Loving my smoothies. It's that time of year again when I like to make smoothies. I don't know if it's a time of year thing actually but I'm in the mood for them again. So, I've been making a few different favorite ones. The Aldi sells fruit for smoothies in their freezer section and the fruit is divided up in little sacks just enough for one smoothie at a time. I will list here my favorite combinations. Strawberry-Banana Smoothie - oh yummy... to make this simply follow my instructions or be creative and come up with your own - strawberries and bananas are the perfect combo! 300ml low-fat vanilla yogurt 300ml Coolbest Strawberry Hill Juice 1 pkg fruit for smoothies (strawberry + banana) 1 banana blend till smooth - serves 2-3 Strawberry Milk Shake - we make this usually for dinner when Dad comes home because he loves strawberry milk shakes. 300ml low-fat vanilla yogurt 300ml low-fat milk 1 pkg fruit for smoothies (strawberry + banana) 1 banana optional: 2-3 tables

FATIGUE IN PREGNANCY I didn't do any posts all of January - but I'm still here. You know how it is being pregnant - I gotta sleep... computer life - facebooking, emails, blogs - all that comes last. But I'm currently at week 11 - my energy is returning and I feel good. Had my echo today - the little peanut is looking good - very active - amazing that at 11 weeks and 2 days to be exact - the little peanut is 4.67 cm - already has two legs, two arms - and I can see the jaw bone. I really look forward to the 20 week echo - I really want to know if it's a boy or girl... my friends think it's gonna be a boy - and they were joking that they are gonna make some "peepee-teepee's" for him... we shall see!
